Country Life have been fantastic helping us with a troublesome rat (or few) who were running under our floor, cavity walls and loft. It was an incredibly difficult time but Darren from CL was excellent and persisted until it was resolved. Always prompt, reliable and didn’t take any shortcuts. Unlike other local firms we’d tried who either weren’t interested unless we dug up the floors or just paid a flying visit with a bit of DIY advice and trays of poison. Highly recommend.
I’m not one for posting reviews but this time I must. Last year I had a wasp problem and called Country Life. The next day Keith arrived and although there was no evidence of a nest anywhere in the lofts Keith saw wasps entering a small hole in the brickwork. He smoked the nest through the hole. All good. Great guy, very polite and conscientious.This year I had squirrels in my loft. Out came Keith again and within a week three squirrels despatched. What a star. I can only relate our experience with this company. We have a wasp nest in the loft, called the company and a technician came out. We live in a 3 storey house but surely they have equipment for all eventualities. We were charged £90 and told it wasn't easy to reach. We paid it but after some thought I contacted the company but had no response to my email so I contacted them again through WhatsApp. The lady said she would investigate and after yet another reminder she responded asking me to be kind as the technicians do a good job. Eventually the director contacted my husband to say we had been overcharged. We received £24 as a reimbursement. Wouldn't use them again or recommend the company
Quick, thorough, efficient service to deal with a chronic rat problem we inherited when we bought our house. These folks were the third pest control company we hired, and the first ones to help us truly identify the underlying issue leading rats to keep returning.They've now got rid of the live population and installed a rat gate in our drains (a one-way valve, basically), so that rats cannot gain access to our property. Hopefully that's the end of it, but if not, I wouldn't hesitate to call Country Life again.Highly recommend.

Martin came out and dealt with a serious wasp problem quickly and efficiently. A huge colony was dealt with and they never came back. The company was very professional and friendly.

Very friendly staff. Had a guy called Darren sort out the mice in my loft and it seems to have done the trick. Staff on the phone were also very helpful. Would recommend.
Had them out before, called up and had same day service, very professional by everyone we spoke to and excellent hands on practical service from Martin. Well worth it!
10/10 service. From the initial contact the service was fast and efficient and very professional. It was also very impressive. Martin came out to remove a bumble bee hive living in our squirrel house. Turns out it was a honey bee hive. Martin managed to single-handedly detach the house from the big oak tree (not an easy job as it was nailed in and very heavy) and carry it down the ladder. He then sealed the hive and relocated it to a beekeeper in the area. We were very impressed! I would highly recommend Martin and Country Life Pest Control and would definitely use them again for any pest problem.
Honestly can't thank this company enough, with a 8 week old baby and the idea that mice maybe in the house I was freaking out, they came out on the same day I called within a few hours and helped ease my mind instantly! Super fast, efficient and effective service! Would 100% use again, though hope I'd never have too 😂 highly recommend! ( also price is very fair for the work(s) done!
I recently used this company for help with a rat infestation in my property. I found them helpful, punctual and they did a good job. No more rats within 7 days, and they also took the time to find out how the rats we getting into my cavity walls so also carried out some additional work to help stop future infestation. Highly recommend.
I had a wasps nest in the eaves, and wasps coming into the house, after calling them at 620am and they then called back, Martin was at my door and ready to roll!Great service, wasps no longer in the house!Highly recommended!
Thank you, Martyn for your help getting rid of the aggressive wasps in my house today. Your prompt professional response was exactly what I needed. Your diagnosis, explanation and treatment made me feel reassured and allowed us access to the bedroom which was ‘out of bounds’!
Can’t rate this company highly enough. I called yesterday regarding a wasp nest in our attic and today after Martin attended its now gone. Very quick and professional service, thank you. 10/10
My phone call about a hornets nest in our roof was dealt with quickly and professionally by Lucy, who arranged for Martyn to come out the same day. The nest was in an awkward place but he dealt with it; straightforward, professional and good value. Highly recommended.
Martyn’s company provided an amazing service….within an hour of me calling about a wasps nest he arrived and dealt with the issue which was in an awkward to reach part of the chimney. This prompt action allowed the team on site to continue installing a new woodburner and lining the chimney otherwise they would have had to leave the job. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company…. I wish more businesses provided the same outstanding service levels. A massive thank you from a very grateful customer! 😊
